Colorful Pasta Salad

1 lb. tri-color radiatore pasta
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 can black olives, sliced
1 red onion, sliced
1 cup ham, cubed or diced
1/2 cup yellow cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, cubed
1 bottle Italian dressing (I prefer Kraft Zesty Italian)

Boil pasta according to instructions. Drain and add all ingredients. Mix well and chill for several hours.

NOTE: This is a very versatile pasta salad - if you are a vegetarian, you can substitute the ham with additional vegetables such as peas, cherry tomatoes or mushrooms. If you don't like ham, use diced turkey or salami. Stick with the Italian dressing, though, as this is what really gives the salad its flavor.
